Lot consists of a cased pair of Smith and Wesson No. 2 single action revolvers. (A) Smith and Wesson No. 2 single action revolver. Made circa 1871. Top of the barrel marked "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS.". Octagonal barrel with rib on top and small blade front sight. Reapplied nickel finish on the metal components. Rosewood grips. Comes in velvet lined custom fitted wood case with gun B in this lot. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its re-applied finish with wear, scratches and handling marks. Bore is clean overall, with a few minor pits towards the breech. Tight hammer. Mechanically fine. Case is very good with light wear. (B) Smith and Wesson No.2 single action revolver. Made circa 1871.
