Vacant front sight slot, high rise contemporary rear sight with square notch. Slide with normal Remington Rand legends. Barrel with P on left lug and HS on right. "G" subinspector on top of bridle. Narrow checkered hammer, checkered safety, long 1911A1 safety, checkered magazine release, stamped trigger. Serrated slide release and arched mainspring housing. Mainspring housing pin flattened. Extensively engraved with an electric chisel in acanthus pattern with punch dot background, including small parts excepting trigger, magazine release, hammer. Grip safety has had flats polished. Risdon magazine with engraving on baseplate. CONDITION: Very good as extensively aftermarket engraved, retaining the vast majority of the parkerized finish with some silvering at operational points. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is good with softened lands and frosting throughout.
