Lot consists of: (A) Colt Officers Model .38. 5"barrel chambered in .38 Special. Blue with 2-piece imitation pearl grips. Custom engraved with near full coverage scrollwork. Engraver or date of the engraving unknown. CONDITION: Excellent as refinished with most all the reapplied blue finish remaining. Action is tight, bore is bright. (B) Smith & Wesson K-38. 5-screw frame. 4" barrel with pinned ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight. Blue with carved 2-piece ivory grips. Custom hand engraved in tastefully executed full coverage scrollwork with stippled backgrounds. Blue with casehardened hammer and trigger. Name of engraver or date of engraving is unknown. CONDITION: Excellent with most all reapplied blue finish remaining. Action is tight. Bore is bright. -MKS-
