1899 vintage Model 1894 Winchester rifle, serial number 158944. Special order, take down frame. 26" octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Blue with case hardened lever, hammer and buttplate. Standard barrel sights. Tang mounted Lyman sight. Chambered in .30-30 WCF. Special order double set triggers. Plain, select grain walnut stock and forearm. Crescent rifle style buttplate. CONDITION: Near fine overall with 75-80% thinning original blue. Take down lug is loose. Bore is excellent. Action is crisp. Wood has been lightly sanded with repairs in the wrist, section of wood missing behind top tang. Set trigger does not operate correctly. -MKS-
