U.S. marked Hi-Standard Model H-D semi automatic pistol. Made 1943-1946 on contract for the U.S. military. Marked "HI-STANDARD/U.S.A. MODEL H-D" on the left side of the slide. Right side of the frame is marked "PROPERTY OF/U.S." over crossed cannons. Round steel barrel with blade front sight. and U notch rear. Metal components retain their original military parkerized finish. Original plastic checkered grips. Original unmarked magazine with parkerized floor plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light holster wear. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically excellent. JWA
