Winchester Model 1885 "Lo-Wall" Training Rifle known as a "Winder Musket" made in 1920s. Blued round tapered barrel with integral front sight and no provision for a rear sight. Marked on left side of barrel with Winchester address and caliber .22 Short near breech. Blued Lo-wall action with Lyman side mounted peep sight with plain trigger and tang marked with "U.S." and "(Flaming Bomb)". Walnut plain musket style stock with steel trapdoor buttplate and military style sling swivel. Walnut finger groove forearm with blued steel nosecap and pinned sling barrel band. CONDITION: 60% fading blue with light usage marks and dings. Wood has oil soaked appearance with no visible repairs or restoration. Good bore with good mechanics. DLM
