1902 Vintage Colt Model 1877 Lightning double action revolver, serial number 139444. 4-1/2" barrel with 2-line barrel address on top and "COLT D.A. 38" on left side. Chambered in .38 Long Colt. 2-piece brown gutta percha grips. CONDITION: Very good, with blued assemblies turning to a blue-grey patina with storage marks with some traces of original blue in protected areas. Frame is dull grey overall with traces of original color case hardening. Grips are excellent with modest wear. Revolver does not work properly in double action. Ejector rod spring is showing heavy wear. Bore is frosted with heavy abrasion and visible rifling. -TN-
