Half moon front sight with beveled flat top U notch rear sight. Left side with 2 line 2 block patent and Colt information with serif font and Colt pont at rear, right side with caliber legend. Barrel with "5" in front of lug. "G" subinspector on top of bridle. Checkered slide release, safety, and magazine release. Long milled trigger, short 1911 grip safety, Smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop. 2 tone magazine with dual pinned base and lanyard loop. CONDITION: Fine, with some normal areas of wear from handling and operation over 100 years but retaining the majority of the attractive Colt bluing. Some silvering at high points and some losses at operational points and grip straps. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with strong rifling a some frosting at lands. A wonderful example. EW
