1899 vintage Colt Model 1878 Double Action revolver, serial number 42793. Blue with 2 piece checkered, black hard rubber grips. Lanyard mounted to the butt. 5 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .32-20 WCF (appears to be a replaced barrel). CONDITION: Near fine overall with 90-95% original blue on the barrel. Balance of gun has been over cleaned leaving a dove grey patina, with scattered light pitting. Bore is excellent. Action is tight and operates correctly. Grips show moderate wear. -MKS-
