Custom straw finished thick tapered blade front sight and square notch rear sight. 2 line 2 block patent and information dates with intercepting pony. Numbered to a different frame under the firing pin retaining plate. Barrel with "HP" perpendicular to bore. Checkered hammer, thumb safety, slide release, and short checkered trigger. Arched checkered mainspring housing, long 1911A1 grip safety, fully checkered walnut grips, fully blue magazine with "COLT / .45 AUTO" on bottom of baseplate. "P" and "H" proofs on left side of frame, Reed proof on top of bridle near disconnector hole. CONDITION: Fine, retaining the vast majority of the factory blue with a few minor marks from handling and operation and some silvering at operational points. Feed ramp has been polished. Discolored solder on inside of slide where new front sight installed. Grip safety and hammer reblued. Safety pin hole on right side of frame somewhat marred. Some mixing with brown on straps and a minor area of old inactive oxidation around mainspring retaining pin. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with strong rifling and some frosting at lands. EW
