1906 vintage Colt Frontier Six Shooter single action revolver, serial number 275092. 5 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .44-40 WCF with single line Hartford, CT address on top and "Colt Frontier Six Shooter" roll-stamped on the left side. Barrel is marked on bottom of barrel underneath center pin "44." 1 piece, walnut grips. CONDITION: Good, with almost all of the bluing faded to a dull-gray patina with traces of original blue in protected areas. Light gouging at bottom of barrel with handling and storage marks throughout. Grips are very good but are dark from oil and sweat with a light crack on bottom of left grip panel. Action works correctly when cycled by hand but the cylinder stop is worn and allows cylinder to be turned when hammer is cocked. Bore is frosted with abrasion with visible rifling. -TN-
