British India Pattern "Brown Bess" Musket built circa 1800 to 1820. Round smoothbore barrel with blade front sight and British proofs at rear of barrel. Tower marked lock with "(Crown) / GR" proof. Walnut stock with brass hardware with partial iron trigger guard. Comes with steel ramrod. CONDITION: Overall poor condition with broken stock and repaired trigger guard. Gun has added finish on wood. Dark bore with lock not holding cock. Ramrod needs repaired. Would make an excellent restoration piece or reenactor's display weapon. DLM
