Colt Police Positive double action revolver. Made 1926. Standard patent dates on top of the barrel. "VP" proof on the trigger guard. Serials on the yolk and frame match. Round steel barrel with half moon blade front sight. Original blued finish with rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. Original checkered wood grips with Colt medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light handling marks an wear. Grips are very good with minor wear to the checkering. Bore is clean with sharp rifling. Hammer is tight, some side to side play. Lock up and timing are very good. Drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically excellent. JWA
