Lot consists of: (A) Frontier-style percussion pistol made by an unknown maker circa 1840. Blued octagon rifled barrel with blade front sight. Unmarked percussion lock with single trigger control. Walnut plain pistol stock with engraved iron furniture and pewter nose cap. CONDITION: Overall good with no visible restoration. Pewter nose cap showing some corrosion along with trigger guard. Dark pitted bore with good mechanics. (B) British made Pattern 1858 smoothbore percussion pistol made for service in India. 8", round, smoothbore barrel with captured ramrod, blade front sight, and notched rear sight. Percussion lock with "(Crown) / EIG" dated "1867 / Birmingham" with 3-position hammer with single trigger control. Walnut pistol stock with brass furniture with ring in butt. CONDITION: Metal turning a grey patina with some light corrosion. Wood has light handling marks and dings. Brass has turned a mellow golden-yellow. Pitted bore with good mechanics. DLM
