Lot consist of: (A) Merwin and Bray single action revolver. Marked "MERWIN & BRAY NEW YORK" on the barrel rib. Illegible patent dates on the cylinder. Barrel is otherwise round and made of steel, as is the cylinder. Brass frame with rosewood grips. CONDITION: Metal retains little to none of its original finish with grey patina forming in most areas. Tarnished brass frame. Grips are solid with light scratches and handling marks. Bore has some areas of light pitting, with good overall rifling retained. Hammer is tight. Cylinder slightly loose but still in time. Mechanically operable. (B) C. Sharps marked 4-barrel deringer. Most likely made 1860's or 1870's. Rotating firing pin. Marked "C. SHARPS & Co./PHILADA. PA" on the right side of the frame and "C. SHARPS/PATENT 1859" on the left. Blued steel barrels with a reapplied nickel finish frame. Aftermarket checkered plastic grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its reapplied finish with more wear on the barrels. Grips are good overall with a small crack in the right panel, in addition to a repaired crack on the bottom of the right panel. Bores are heavily pitted with good overall retained rifling. Hammer is loose but operable. Mechanically operable. (C) Forehand & Wadsworth Side Hammer single action revolver. Made 1870's. Octagon barrel with blade front sight and patent dates on the left side. Serial number under the barrel. Reapplied nickel finish with aftermarket pearl grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its reapplied finish. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean overall with a few minor pits towards the muzzle. Tight hammer and cylinder. Timing is good. Mechanically fine. JWA
