Lot consist of: (A) Colt Officer's Model Match double action revolver. Made early 1960's. "VP" proof on the trigger guard. Serials on the frame and yolk are matching. Wide spur hammer. Round steel barrel with adjustable blade front sight and adjustable U notch rear. Factory blued finish with rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. Original checkered wood grips with Colt medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its finish with light wear and handling marks. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Hammer and cylinder are tight. Lock up and timing are fine. Mechanically fine. (B) Colt Officer's Model double action revolver. Barrel is marked "OFFICERS MODEL COLT. D.A. 38". Matching serials on the yolk, frame and cylinder lock. Serial on the butt reads "278322" Round steel barrel with adjustable blade front sight and U notch rear. Original blued finish has formed a patina in some areas. Old style wood grips with light checkering. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with light wear and scratches. Grips are very good with light wear. Bore has light frosting with crisp rifling. Hammer is tight with a cylinder that has some side to side movement. Timing and lockup is very good. Drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
