Winchester Model 70 bolt action target rifle. Made 1947. Winchester marked heavy steel bull barrel with no iron sights. Drilled and tapped for a scope and rear peep sight. Bolt has been jewelled. Barrel and receiver retain factory bluing. Oil finished wood stock with added palm stop connector. Metal, checkered butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with gentle wear. Wood is very good with a few small handling marks and scratches. Sharp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine. JWA
