Bead front sight with protective ears on dovetailed island. Octaonal barrel with machine matte top rib, signed near breech in inlaid silver "L. Dieter Hofuchsemmacher Munchen". Martini style action engraved with Germanic florals on punch dot background. Right side of action with a forest scene of a buck and doe, right side with similar scene. Underside of forearm with BUG proofs. Wood is carved with florals and checkering at wrist. Highly stylized trigger guard. Removable trigger housing. Vacant orthoptic stand for sight. Classic large sculpted cheekpiece. Butt with stabilizing prong. Double set triggers. CONDITION: Very good, retaining the vast majority of finish on metal with a few marks on metal and some minor old oxidation. Receiver has traces of case color, more in protected areas. Wood has been carefully refreshed with marks throughout from handling and use, and a few pressure marks. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, set triggers work, bore is very good with strong rifling. Firing pin is broken and part has been taped to stock to avoid loss. EW
