First year of production Ruger Blackhawk single action revolver, serial number 47, made in 1968. 7 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in the sought after .30 Carbine cartridge with ramped front sight. Adjustable rear sight is missing. 2 piece walnut grips with black Ruger Phoenix medallion. Comes with a holster marked "Bushnell / "Hand Crafted / In Mexico" on back with basket weave tooling on front. CONDITION: Very fine with almost all of the original blued finish remaining with the exception of minor wear and handling marks. Grips are extremely fine with slight wear. Cylinder has a ghost of a dragline. Action works correctly and locks tightly. Bore is bright and shiny with some frosting in the grooves and crisp rifling. Truly an exceptional and collectable Ruger Blackhawk in a scarce cartridge. -TN-
