Mauser Broomhandle C-96 semi-automatic pistol. Made 1915-1921 as a "Wartime Commercial" model. No import mark found. All visible serial numbers match. Right side of the frame reads "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A. NECKAR", with "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A N" on the chamber area. "(Crown) / U" commercial proofs on the side of the chamber and bolt. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and 1000 meter tangent rear. Metal has been lightly refinished. 30 groove walnut grips. Hammer stud and lanyard ring are present. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its reapplied finish with light wear. Grips are excellent. Overall clean bore with sharp rifling left. Safety needs work. JWA
