Smith and Wesson Model 544 Texas Wagon Train commemorative double action revolver with case. Made 1984. Barrel marked "1836 TEXAS 1936". Emblem of the state of Texas with wagon in the center, on the right side of the frame. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and adjustable U notch rear. Factory polished blued finish with case hardened trigger and hammer. Smooth finish wood grips with Smith and Wesson emblems. Square butt. Includes blue velvet lined wood case with papers. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with light handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Timing and lock up are very good. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
