Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle built in 1923. Blued "Nickel Steel" round barrel with replaced blade front sight, full magazine, and rear adjustable notched sight. Winchester patents and address in front of sight on left hand side of barrel with barrel marking and caliber to rear. Blued frame with plain trigger and case hardened lever and hammer. Walnut plain stock with steel crescent buttplate. Walnut plain forearm with blued nosecap. CONDITION: 80% barrel and magazine tube blue. Receiver and nosecap worn to a silvery patina. Wood has traces of finish with a dry appearance exhibiting some scratches and handling marks. Hole in stock plugged from sling swivel. Dark bore with some light pitting. Good mechanics with action being a little sticky. DLM
