Springfield Armory Model 1903 bolt action rifle. Made 1932 with proper "SA/6-32" marked barrel. Stock has nice cartouches with a boxed "S.A./S.P.G." and a boxed "D.A.L" inspector stamp. Circle "P" stamp on the bottom of the wrist. Standard sights with added metal front sight protector. Correct milled trigger hard and stock hardware. Original military blued finish on the barrel and receiver. Straight, wood stock with correct finger grooves, stock bolts and oil finish. Wide cut hand guard, commonly found on Remington 1903 rifles. Smooth butt plate with trap door. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with mild wear and handling marks. Wood is very good with minor handling dings, scratches and scrapes. Clean bore with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
