Remington Model 03-A3 bolt action rifle. Made August-September 1943 with proper Remington marked "RA/8-43" barrel. Stacking swivel and sling swivel are both "R" marked. Bolt is not marked, looks to be 1903 Springfield production. Correct trigger guard with proper "R" stamped magazine cut-off. Stock is unmarked and lacks a circle "P" proof. Standard blade front sight with adjustable rear. Metal retains its factory parkerized finish. "C-Stock" is oil finished. Checkered butt plate with trapdoor. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Stock is excellent with a few scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
