A beautiful example of a banded dogwood produced by Tiffany Studios. The 20” diameter shade features a floral band of dogwoods, represented in richly complex mottled and stippled glass. Soft whites, yellows, greens and delicate pinks round out the floral arrangement. The flowers are set against a geometric background of blue and green glass, displaying dense mottling and stippling. The shade is in excellent condition with a very small number of fine, stable heat cracks. Shade is signed "Tiffany Studios 1491-7". The shade sits on a bronze patinated Tiffany Studios large stick base. The base stands 25 - 1/4” in height to the top of the shade rest. The four-socket base features Perkins paddles. It is finished in a rich red-brown patina with verdigris accents. The base is in excellent condition with negligible loss of finish to the column. Base is stamped on the underside "Tiffany Studios 531". The heat cap appears to be acid etched and original/period correct.
