A beautiful leaded glass lamp with poinsettia pattern produced by Tiffany Studios. The 16” shade features a banded poinsettia pattern atop a dichroic and mottled glass background. The poinsettias are seen in lovely shades of magenta, ruby reds and softer pinks. The central portion of the poinsettias are shown in blue, green and yellow glass. Delicate streaky green glass serves to complete the leaves below. The flowers are set against wonderful dichroic and mottled background glass. In reflected light the background glass shows up in green and cream colors which shift to a beautiful golden butterscotch in transmitted light. The shade is in excellent condition with a small number of tight, stable heat cracks. Shade is signed "Tiffany Studios New York 1557". The shade sits atop a bronze patinated Tiffany Studios three-arm mushroom base. The three-socket base retains GECO paddles. Base is finished in a rich brown patina and is in excellent condition with just the smallest degree of loss to the column. Base is signed "Tiffany Studios New York 394 S197". Heat cap appears to be a contemporary reproduction.
