A leaded glass lamp with pomegranate pattern produced by Tiffany Studios. The 16” features a band of pomegranates amidst a geometric background. The pomegranates contain lovely butterscotch and cream colored mottled glass. The background consists of green and white streaked tiles, with subtle blue and gray overtones. The leading is finished in a red-brown patina. The shade is in very good condition with a small number of tight and stable heat cracks. Shade is signed "Tiffany Studios New York 1457". The leaded glass shade sits atop a bronze, patinated Tiffany Studios Colonial base. The base stands 21” tall to the top of the shade rest. The base is finished in a rich brown patina with red overtones, matching the leading of the shade. Base is in excellent condition with no appreciable loss to the finish. Three-socket cluster appears to be original, as does the heat cap. Base is correctly signed "Tiffany Studios New York 534".
CORRECTION: Heat cap appears to have a remnant of the original screw stuck in the threading, preventing it from screwing down securely to the base. However, the cap does sit neatly atop the shade.
