The blade of this Ground Rohm SA Dagger is maker marked for the firm of "E. Pack". The steel blade features the standard "Alles für Deutschland" motto, as well as the Ernst Röhm motto which had been period removed, as per the order from Adolf Hitler. The removal of the Röhm dedication is not a factory type, but rather most likely crudely executed by the original owner, or an accomplice, using a simple grinding wheel or file. The front of the blade retains some of its original factory cross-graining. Light runner marks and scattered freckling can be seen on the blade. It is possible the blade could have been lightly cleaned at some point. The nickel silver upper and lower cross guards are bright and without damage, but may possibly have been cleaned at some point. The rosewood grip features a nice silver eagle, and exhibit light wear and a natural patna build up throughout. The scabbard body exhibits freckling throughout the original brown anodizing. The nickel silver fittings are without damage, and match the condition and look of the daggers cross guards. Attached to the scabbard and grip are a leather three point hanger system. CONDITION: EXCELLENT D.W.
