Lot consist of: (A) Stevens Model 240 over/under shotgun. Made 1950's/60's. Round smoothbore steel barrels with bead front sight. Original blued finish on the barrels with a case hardened frame. Tennnite stock set and plastic butt plate. 3" chamber, full choke bores. Extractors present. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with light wear and patina. Stock is solid, with minor wear and scratches. Bores are clean. Mechanically fine. (B) Ruger M77 Mark II bolt action rifle with scope. Made 1996 as a "Carpenter Technology Corporation" commemorative. Numbered "411 of 2440" Round, stainless steel barrel with no iron sights. Stainless steel action and trigger guard. Scroll etching on the receiver and trigger guard. Hardwood stock with checkering on the wrist and forearm. Factory rubber butt pad. Includes attached Bausch & Lomb 3 - 9x40 scope and leather sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light scratches. Wood is excellent with a few minor handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Scope is excellent with a clear optic. JWA
