Custom FN Herstal Mauser Sporter bolt action rifle. Converted Belgian Model 1935 short rifle. Crown over "L" in script on top of the chamber. Barrel is stamped "275 Rigby". Belgian proofs on both the barrel and receiver. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and fixed position U notch rear. Reapplied commercial blued finish on the barrel and receiver. Bolt has been polished and bent down. Receiver has been drilled for a scope with added safety for use when a scope is mounted. Custom wood stock with carved check piece and checkering on the wrist and forearm. Checkered plastic butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its reapplied finish with light handling marks. Bore is shiny with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
