Custom Czech VZ-24 Mauser Sporter bolt action rifle. Made 1938 in Czechoslovakia. Barrel is marked "SSC 375 H.H.". Round steel barrel with blade front sight (has flip over protector) and fixed v-notch rear. Metal has been refinished to a gloss blue. Polished bolt with new safety added for use with a scope. Drilled and tapped for a scope. Custom wood stock with checkering at the wrist and fore arm and thick rubber butt pad. Sling swivel on the heel of the butt, with one added to the barrel as well. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its reapplied finish. Stock is excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically excellent. JWA
