This is probably one of his earliest knives and has a graceful design that he maintained throughout his knife-making career. Full blade measuring 6-1/4". Overall length is 12". The left side is stamped with Scagel's kris mark. The slightly curved blade has a long false edge. Typical Scagel hunter canted brass guard. Handle has multiple brass, silver, copper, composite and leather spacers with a whitetail deer crown stag pommel. CONDITION: Blade shows some patina and scattered manufacturing flaws. Handle retains a dark patina and shows some minor marks. PROVENANCE: From the Personal Collection of Dr. James R. Lucie.
