Original tin embossed interior instruction card reads "1933 Exhibit Supply Company Chicago" and "Machine for Amusement & Exhibition Only". Also has instructions and indicators for "Rear", "Center" and "Front" positioning of the original crane, which is without cracks or repair. The crane is mounted on original aluminum casting that resembles a steamship and displays the words "Novelty Merchantman". Truly a classic 1930's digger/claw machine. The wooden cabinet has minimal wear throughout, with some lifting of veneer on the bottom panels only and does not distract from the overall look. It has a period replacement coin mechanism and the machine works well, with only minor adjustment needed to perform at 100%. Some soiling and possible early clear coating on the original cardboard backdrop and some minor separation of veneer on the interior ceiling panel, which is not distracting. Missing two locks on the front access door. It is in overall great condition. - Keys: Yes
