L. C. Smith "Field" Grade side by side shotgun made in Fulton, New York by Hunter Arms Company in 1937. Blued "Armor Steel" barrels with matted rib, brass bead front sight and extractors. Case hardened featherweight frame with double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with black bakelite grip cap and black plastic buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm. CONDITION: 70% fading barrel blue with bright bores. 50% case colors with balance fading to a silvery patina. Wood has added coat of finish with light handling marks and dings. Screws have been turned with bottom floor plate screw cold blued. Crisp mechanics with tight lock up. DLM
