Lot consists of: (A) Colt 1862 Pocket Navy blackpowder percussion revolver. Made circa 1863. Top of the barrel marked "ADDRESS COL. SAM-COLT NEW YORK U.S. AMERICA". "COLTS/PATENT" and "36 CAL" marked on the left side of the frame. Serials on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, butt, and cylinder all match. Faint engraving scene on the cylinder. Octagonal barrel with brass triangle front sight. Casehardened frame, hammer, and lever, with brass grip straps. Walnut grips. CONDITION: Metal retains little to none of its original finish with signs of heavy cleaning and patina. Solid grips with light scratches and handling marks. Bore is poor with little rifling retained. Timing needs work. Hammer is tight. (B) Colt Model 1849 pocket revolver. Made 1860. Top of the barrel is marked "ADDRESS SAML COLT/HARTFORD CT." "COLTS/PATENTS" marked on the left side of the frame. Matching serial numbers on the numbered components. Octagonal barrel brass bead front sight. Blued barrel with case hardened frame, hammer, and loading lever. Brass grip straps. Walnut grips. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with heavy wear, patina and light pitting. Grips are very good with light handling marks. Bore has some minor pitting with good overall rifling. Timing needs work. Mechanically operable. JWA
