Prussian made side by side shotgun made by Linder in Prussia, Germany and imported as "Charles Daly' circa the early 20th Century. Damascus steel barrels with matted rib marked "Charles Daly Fine Damascus" with bead front sight and extractors. Case hardened boxlock action marked "PRUSSIA" on action watertable. Line engraved scalloped frame with scroll engraving and "CHARLES DALY" on each side of action. Action has Greener-style crossbolt with double triggers, cocking indicators and automatic safety. Walnut round knob checkered pistol grip stock with horn buttplate and German silver stock shield. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with ebony tip inlay (missing) and latch release. CONDITION: 40% of original Damascus scene with balance turning a brown patina. Action has faded to a brown patina with some surface crazing. Wood has dark, oil-soaked appearance with no visible cracks or restoration. Shootable bores with good mechanics. DLM
