Colt manufacture Model 1883 hammerless side by side shotgun made in 1895. Damascus Steel barrels with matted rib marked "Colt's PT F. A. Mfg. Co. Hartford CT USA" with bead front sight and extractors. Case hardened hammerless boxlock action with double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered round knob checkered pistol grip stock with Colt buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with ebony inlay and latch release. CONDITION: Metal parts have faded to a silvery patina with some light surface blemishes. Wood has been cleaned and checkering recut. Good bores with good mechanics. Tight lock up. DLM
