L. C. Smith "Quality 1" hammer side by side shotgun made by the Hunter Arms Company in Fulton, New York in 1900. Twist steel barrels with matted rib and bead front sight with left barrel marked "Hunter Arms Co. Maker's Fulton, New York". Case hardened action stamped "L.C. SMITH" on each lock. Gun has double triggers and extractors. Walnut half round pistol grip checkered stock with bakelite buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: 90% of a barrel rebrown with 20% original case colors. Wood has added finish and checkering has been recut. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
