W. W. Greener "Empire E 17" Grade side by side shotgun made by W. W. Greener Birmingham, England. Fluid steel barrels marked "SLEEVED" on bottom of barrel flats with tonnage rating. Bead front sight with concave smooth rib and extractors. Case hardened 3 lug boxlock action with famous Greener crossbolt and side safety and double triggers. Walnut checkered English style straight grip with pieced checkered wood butt. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 90% of an old reblue remaining on barrels. Case has faded to a plum color with floorplate having 10% remaining blue. Trigger guard has been reblued. Stock has wrist repair and added butt section with light usage marks and dings. Reblued latch release on forearm with traces of original varnish. Good bores with tight lockup and good mechanics. DLM
