1917 vintage Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle, serial number 831666. 22" round barrel with full length magazine tube, standard sights, Lyman No. 2 Tang Sight, and chambered in .25-20 WCF. 2 piece, plain walnut stock and forearm with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Very good, with almost all of the original finish on blued assemblies turned to a brown-gray patina with scattered light pitting throughout with traces of original bluing in protected areas. Stock and forearm are very good with scattered handling marks and moderate wear but retain their original finish. Action works correctly when cycled by hand. Bore is dark with visible rifling. -TN-
