Charles Daly side by side double made by J.P. Sauer and Son Suhl, Germany circa 1920. Krupp fluid steel barrels with matted rib and bead front sight and line engraved breech. Case hardened boxlock action with light scroll engraving and brand name "Charles Daly" on each side of the action. Gun has double triggers, extractors, and automatic safety. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with leather faced rubber recoil pad and ebony diamond inlays at wrist and German silver stock shield and checkered side panels. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with ebony tip and latch release. CONDITION: 50% original barrel blue. 10% case colors fading to a silvery patina. Wood has traces of an old added finish with light handling and usage marks. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
