English made percussion fowler made circa 1850. Twist steel percussion smoothbore barrel marked on a flat marked "London" with bead front sight. Percussion lock marked "PURDY" (Not same as James Purdey) with scroll engraving and 3 position single trigger controlled hammer. Walnut checkered half stock with iron furniture and German silver nosecap. Comes with black finish trumpet head wooden ramrod. CONDITION: Metal parts fading to a silvery patina with 50% Damascus pattern showing. Dark bore with good mechanics. DLM
