Simeon North U.S. Model 1819 pistol converted to percussion from flintlock and made in 1821. Round smoothbore barrel with blade front sight and percussion nipple installed in top of barrel. Barrel marked with "J/P/US" inspector's stamps. Flint lock converted to percussion with brass pan marked 13, with "S. North over US and Eagle over Midltn Conn.". Rear of lock dated "1821" with removed safety latch. Walnut stock with iron hardware and captured ramrod. CONDITION: Overall good with metal turning a silvery patina. Illegible inspector's marks on stock with stock having an oil soaked appearance with usage dings and marks. Dark bore with sticky mechanics. DLM
