Smith & Wesson Number 2 single action revolver, serial number 63192. 6" octagon barrel chambered in .32 rimfire long with German silver front sight and cylinder stop rear. 2 piece plain Mother of Pearl grips. About 80% coverage engraved in typical Nimschke style scrolls on a stippled background. Depiction of anchor on left and ribbon on right side of frame with arrow passing through an infinity symbol on right and left side of barrel. Cylinder features same scrolls on stippled background. Terminates with scrolls leading to a band on muzzle. "E" stamped on bottom flat of barrel with "L.D.N" on bottom of barrel beneath base pin. Originally gold and silver plated. CONDITION: Excellent with very faint traces of gold plating remaining on hammer, cylinder, and base pin and the balance turned to a silver plated patina with dark tarnish forming in areas. Grips are excellent and fit well with minimal signs of distress. Action works correctly and locks tightly. Bore is bright with moderate abrasion and crisp rifling. PROVENANCE: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection. -TN-
