Smith and Wesson No. 2 single action revolver, serial number 71429. 6" octagon barrel chambered in .32 rimfire long with German silver front sight and cylinder stop rear sight. 2 piece plain Mother of Pearl grips. About 50% coverage engraved with New York style scrolls. Terminates at muzzle with scrolls on right and left barrel flats going in to a band. Exact date and name of engraver are unknown. Period silver plating. CONDITON: Very good with silver plating starting to tarnish especially on barrel and cylinder. Grips are excellent with no major signs of distress and fit well. Action works correctly and is tight. Bore is lightly frosted with sharp rifling. PROVENANCE: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection. -TN-
