Both guns in identical configuration with blade front sights and notch rears on hammers. Hammers are case colored. 2 line patent address on rib. Both guns are acid etch engraved in a flowing floral pattern, cylinder acid etch engraved in geometric pattern reminiscent of arcaded fences. 2 piece rosewood grips numbered to guns internally. Matching assembly numbers observed on cylinder faces, rears of barrel assembly, and frames. Both guns are period silver plated and housed in a period dealer case with wine colored lining that has faded. CONDITION: Both guns are very good with some tarnish to silver and normal handling and wear marks throughout. Engraving is crisp. One front sight has been driven slightly lower. Both actions works appropriately, bores are good with visible rifling and frosting throughout. Case is very good with some compressions and fading of color. PROVENANCE: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection. EW
