The original Colt armory burnt to the ground on February 4th, 1864. They immediately started to rebuild. This is a lithograph of the factory in 1876 after it was rebuilt. It measures 10 1/2" X 8" and is framed in a nice wood frame with cream color matting. Along the bottom of the lithograph it reads "COLT'S ARMORY AND MACHINE SHOPS". This lithograph was done by Atlantic Publishing and Engraving Co. New York. CONDITION: Mint, with just a bit of staining on the lower right side. REW
