Springfield Model 1903A1 bolt action rifle. Receiver made 1934 with possibly correct "SA/Flaming Ball/8-32" barrel. Correct sights with metal front sight protector. Stock looks to have been refinished with no visible cartouche. Milled trigger guard and correct "Swept back" 1903 style bolt. Original military blue finish on the metal components. Checkered steel buttplate with trapdoor. Includes unmarked green canvas sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its finish with light wear and handling marks. Stock is very good with minor dents and scratches. Bore is clean with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
