Lot consists of: (A) Winchester Model 70 bolt action rifle with scope. Made 1949. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and no rear sight. Winchester proofs on barrel and frame. Original blued finish. Oil finished wood stock with checkered forearm and wrist. Added rubber butt pad. Includes attached Leupold VXII 3-9X40 reproduction "USMC M40" scope and generic leather sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with general wear and scratches. Wood is solid with handling marks and scratches. Bore is strong with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. Scope is excellent with a clear optic. (B) Remington Model 700 ADL bolt action rifle with scope. Made 1964. Round, steel barrel with blade front and U-notch adjustable rear sight. Scroll engraving scenes on the receiver and scope rings. Metal has been refinished at some point. Aftermarket Walnut stock with checkering/carvings on the wrist and forearm. Pachmayr rubber butt pad. Includes attached Kowa 2x-9x scope. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its re applied finish with some light freckling on the barrel. Stock is excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Scope is excellent with a clear optic. JWA
