1925 vintage Winchester Model 1892 lever action short rifle, serial number 951017. 20" octagon barrel chambered in .44 Winchester Center Fire (.44-40) with full length magazine tube, standard semi-buckhorn rear sight, and blade front. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Very good with most of the original bluing remaining on barrel and magazine tube with high edge wear and light pitting. Receiver retains some original bluing on either side with balance a dull gray patina with scattered handling and storage marks. Stocks are good with large repair at wrist where stock was broken and then pinned back together. Action works correctly. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. -TN-
